Chennai Trinity Hospital’s compassionate service, in association with Sri Vaidyanatha Trust, led by Dr. Avinash and coordinated by Dr. Sundaram, brought life-saving cardiac care to the residents of Bhumi Thai Old Age Home. Their unwavering dedication ensured that the underprivileged received essential medical attention. Thanks to their efforts and the support of Mr. Go. Rajagopalan DEO, who worked tirelessly to arrange funds and organize the camp, the elderly no longer have to worry about their heart health. On behalf of the management and all beneficiaries, heartfelt gratitude for this divine service!

Sri Vaidyanatha Trust, in association with Trinity Acute Care Hospital, Alwarpet, and Boomi Thai Foundation (Old Age Home), successfully conducted a cardiac specialty camp for the villagers of Mellachamangalam (near Thirupathur) on 16-03-2025. Around 97 patients were screened for cardiac issues, with assessments including BP, PR, SPO2, temperature, weight, height, BMI, ECG, and ECHO, followed by free cardiologist consultations.

Patients with comorbidities were counseled on lifestyle modifications, the importance of regular medications, and the role of exercise. Those diagnosed with serious conditions were advised to visit Chennai for further treatment, which will be fully covered by the trust. Additionally, all patients were provided free meals, making this initiative a holistic effort to promote health and well-being in the community.

Two children diagnosed with a hole in the heart have been assured complete treatment. Additionally, five individuals suspected of having CAD were advised to undergo further evaluation and treatment at Trinity Hospital. Eight patients newly diagnosed with high blood pressure received appropriate dietary counseling and were provided with one month’s supply of medication. This initiative has brought hope and healing to many in need.
